Finn Sisu is the proud sponsor of the City of Lakes Trail Loppet Trail Running Club.  Looking to get into trail running to get off the pavement, and want to learn the metro trails with others?  Need a group to train with off-road?  Simply want to begin running, but do so on softer surfaces?  Check out the Trail Running Club.

The team consists of novice to experienced runners, all with different goals.  A 5k and a 1/2 marathon training plan are provided, and the team meets twice a week (Mondays and Saturdays) to help you reach your goals.  Each week the team generally does one long run and one trail-specific workout (hills, speed, etc.).  The speed and type of workout depends on the individual:  we coach beginners to advanced runners.  Your long run could be 1-2 miles or 10+, depending on your experience.  Running topics are discussed before practice most Monday evenings, and range from nutrition, gear selection, strength training, and stretching.  This is a great way to get introduced to running, the trail, and other runners.
