You invest time and money into year-round training, the best skis, and fastest fluoro waxes. But what about the food that fuels your skiing?
If you want to learn more about how to use nutrition to improve your ski racing results, then don’t miss Jared Sundstrom’s talk at 6 pm on Monday, August 5.
|Jared, who skied for St. John’s University, has figured out how to use nutrition as a competitive tool, and he’s got an 11th-place Birkie classic finish and a 129th-place skate finish as proof that he knows his stuff!
Other than ski racing, Jared is also an avid cyclist with a focus on cyclocross and gravel racing.
Nutrition is something that Jared has always tried to apply to racing to gain an advantage over his competitors. He completed a research study on sports drinks and performance with cross-country skiers in college. He continues to try various food and supplements, and apply them to his racing strategy.
Hope to see you Monday night. Bring all your nutrition questions!
